Coffee enthusiasts and professional baristas in Korea have an exciting year ahead! UNIC is proud to announce that its Stella EPIC espresso machine will serve as the Official Espresso Machine for all Korean National Coffee Championships in 2025. This partnership, established alongside UNIC’s Korean distributor Giesen Korea, is set to provide barista with a state-of-the-art tool to showcase their skills.

The Road to Coffee Excellence

Starting in March, Korea’s vibrant coffee community will gather for two major national competitions, organized by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Korea Chapter:

• 2025 KLAC (Korea Latte Art Championship) and KCIGS (Korea Coffee in Good Spirits Championship) – taking place at Cafe Dessert Fair, Incheon (March 20-23)
• 2025 KNBC (Korea National Barista Championship) – hosted at Cafe & Bakery Fair, Seoul (May 29 – June 1)

Winners of these prestigious events will go on to represent Korea at the World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) and World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS) at World of Coffee in Geneva in June. Meanwhile, the World Barista Championship (WBC) will be held during Host Milano tradeshow (October).
